PSDDA Disposal Site Monitoring

Germano & Associates, Inc. was awarded the subcontract from Striplin Environmental Associates to perform all required SVPS monitoring for the PSDDA disposal sites in summer of 2001 and 2002. The Commencement Bay Disposal Site was monitored in summer of 2001, and the Elliott Bay Disposal Site monitored in summer of 2002. The SVPS technology is used to delineate the final dredged material footprint at the disposal sites and confirm if material has stayed within the designated site boundaries. Dredged material footprint maps are submitted to the client within 24 hours of completion of field sampling, and a comprehensive data report is submitted within 4 weeks of field operations.
